Range fees and ammunition not included. You will need between 50 to 150 rounds of ammunition.
This class is tailored for the beginner shooter that would
like a detailed introduction to firearms handling. You will participate in our regular scheduled Concealed Carry Class, where all the basics of handgun shooting and
safe firearms handling is covered, plus spend time at the range at the end of the day with an NRA Certified Law Enforcement
Instructor, that will teach you how to apply the fundamentals and get on target.
This class will give you the certification you need
to apply for your concealed weapons permit, but if you don't wish to apply, it is of course not required.
The time at the range will teach you all that our regular Level 1 Pistol Class covers, the only difference being there might be other students
taking the class with you.
This class is offered
only in conjunction with our regular scheduled concealed carry classes. Duration of class 5 to 6 hours depending on class size.
*As laws tend to change over time, it is the applicant's responsibility
to know the law and to find out about possible changes.

“There
were several newbies in my CWP class, including myself, who had never fired a weapon before. Julio was patient and answered
all questions--even those that were completely unrelated to the topic under discussion. He gently corrected those who asked
about bullets. (You will need to attend the class to understand why he corrected the question!) Furthermore, when we
went to the gun range he (and his lovely wife) showed the same level of patience and I felt comfortable shooting at the end
of the range time. I highly recommend the "Combo-Class"
for new shooters because you will get more range time right up front. I plan to return for the tactical pistol class to learn
more about the safe and proper use of my firearm whether it turns out to be a pistol or a revolver--and thanks to Julio, I
now know the difference! Thanks Julio! ”~ Gwendolyn Ross
